Teens Meet Outreach

The teen-age is a very sensitive age that needs careful attention given to it and the place of communion with God must not be taken lightly.

Teenage is not just the age of somewhat freedom and flexing around like some people think but a time to prepare for the future.

God predestined you, He foreknew you and has a plan for you which can only be unveiled to you by communing with him. No one is too small to communicate with God. As a teenager, you can always communicate with the father; in fact, God loves it the most.

Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

The foundation built from now is what one builds upon later on; when God is the foundation, then all other things won’t be complicated. A lot of people live to regret their lives because they didn’t get it right with God from the start.

A lot of youths are struggling and can’t make meaning out of their lives because of how their teenage years were lived. The common mistake most of them make is that they know about God but do not know Him.

Make God a part of your daily life as from now, communicate with him (pray) and see yourself do extraordinary things.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

Now is a perfect time to build a solid and firm relationship with God.

How to take God seriously as a teen;

• Know who you are in Christ
• Learn from Gods word: The Bible
• Keep the communication line open (pray)
• Get hooked with other believers
• Don’t let doubt get you down

Note

That you are born into a Christian family doesn’t mean you’re saved or have a relationship with God automatically, there is the place of your own personal work towards building a personal relationship with God which is what matters most.

You are meant to have the fullest kind of life, live the life of Christ as He helps you! No limit!!!
