On the 6th of July 2023, TMO Lagos visited Ken Ade Private Schools Ken Ade private school situated at 13, Falodun street New Makoko, in line with our Leaving Prints On Hearts (LPOH) project.

We teamed up with EARLY BEAN – an all-in-one finance app for kids, teens, and family – to sensitize the students on financial literacy and education.

Given the unchanging tides of time, financial literacy has become one of the bedrocks of empowering young people to become financially independent and innovative.
At TMO, we believe this can’t be done alone. That is why we took this bold initiative to partner with Early Bean in taking the truth of financial literacy to the students themselves.
102 students participated in the session, where we encouraged them to learn true financial empowerment, saving mechanisms, and entrepreneurship from a very young age.

With coordinated and creative partnership, we were able to team up with the teachers, principal and school authority in what it means to be financially literate. We shared with them some items needed for academic work such as:
- Exercise Books
- Customized (TMO Branded) Pens, and
- Mathematical Sets.

Big thanks to the team at Early Bean for joining hands with us and also to our volunteers at TMO: Surulere Elizabeth, Kazeem Olamijuwonlo, and Akinpelu Favour Ayomide.

In conclusion, we believe the outing was a successful one. We gave the students an overview of TMO and encouraged them to be a part of the move. We also got meaningful and inspiring feedback from students at the end of the outreach.
How to Partner with Us:
Thank you for your continued support as we look forward to reaching more teenagers.
