It is widely known that people of tender age possess more strength and have the ability to do many things that adults can’t. They might not be able to think like adults but they have the physical strength.
Since you have great strength in teen age, it is highly important to do things that require physical strength because you have what it takes to achieve your goals. The strength should be used to gather all mental and spiritual resources needed in the future.
Teens should be like the ants that gather against the rainy day. God has blessed everyone with strength, vigour and ability. It is now left to you to utilize them to a maximum level. Maximizing in the sense that you make something good out of it, something that will be of great importance to you in the future.
What a man/woman would become in future mostly depends on what they are in their youthful age. It will be very wise of you to give yourself wholly to discipline at this age.
Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Another thing is what you learn or get to know in your teen age. This matters a lot because you carry it with you for the rest of your life.
Your teen age is when you get to build a good name. You’ve probably heard overtime how politicians have their past records checked, and some end up disqualified because of a past misdeed.
A quick question: are you eternally saved by Jesus Christ?
let’s take a look at this. Someone who has godly rich parents can always hide under the umbrella and think since his parents already made it, he doesn’t necessarily have to work towards achieving anything on his own.
Salvation on the other hand is not a family inheritance. You get saved personally not because of who your biological father is. His status can’t fetch you eternal salvation.
You have so much time and less responsibilities now. No matter how much responsibilities you have today, there will be more in the future. So, trust me, you still have a lot of time in this young age.
Psalms 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
You are powerful, strong and needed. You are not an accident, you are not irrelevant, except you want to make yourself one.
It’s time to maximize your youthful years! Go beyond the norm and make use of every opportunity you get. Make this teen age worth it!
