I know my faults
I know how they think I’m messy, uncoordinated, lazy, and sometimes annoying.
I know my faults
I know I don’t trust easily and I sometimes hate myself.
I know my faults
I know how they say I’m impulsive, always suspicious, disorganized and anxious.
I know my faults, I hear them whisper about it when I pass them in the streets.
They know my faults but truth is, I know them too.
But what do I know that they don’t?
I know my faults don’t define me
There’s something else I also know,
I know my faults won’t break me
Yes, I might be flawed, imperfect, hurt and scared, but I am me.
I am not my past, not my mistakes, and not anyone else.
I am a work in progress.
So, don’t judge me by my faults, they don’t define me.
It’s okay if you have faults too, I believe we all do.
It’s okay if others know them
It’s okay if you know them
As long as you don’t let them define you.
Despite your faults and despite what anyone says about them, you still deserve to succeed
You still deserve to be loved.
You are not a product of people’s judgements, you are a product of God’s love. He made you with love in his entire being, and he has surrounded you with wonderful people so you can learn through him and through them that your faults don’t define you.
It’s okay if you’re not perfect
It’s okay to make mistakes, as long as you don’t let them define you
It’s okay to fall as long as you will not stay down and you will rise and you will not give up.
Don’t let what people say bother you, you are amazing, so enjoy the process of being a work in progress.
I hope this blesses someone. Feel free to leave a comment and don’t forget to subscribe to this blog to not miss a post.
