Happy Monday !!!
Last night, I had the opportunity to listen to one of the best messages that I have heard in a long time. I mean it was a rejuvenating time in the presence of God yet again.
In a nutshell, my pastor preached on Exodus chapter 33. As always, the Israelites refused to obey the laws of God during their journey to the promised land and God plainly stated that He won’t accompany them to the promised land. God did promise to send an angel instead. Imagine, heading to the place God promised them without God Himself accompany them. However, the Israelites under the leadership of Moses mourned and sought the face of the Lord. They could not make the journey to the land flowing with milk and honey without the presence of God.
Last night, I was yet reminded to recognize that there is nothing irreplaceable about being in the presence of God.
The presence of God is for His Children and you can ask Jesus into your heart regardless of your past and who you are because God loves unconditionally with an everlasting kind of love.
O Come to The Altar by Elevation Worship is a song that talks about the presence of God in a simple yet captivating way. It is like a worship medley that brought me to my knees. I hope you enjoy it.
O Come to The Altar – Elevation Worship
Are you hurting and broken within?
Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin?
Jesus is calling
Have you come to the end of yourself
Do you thirst for a drink from the well?
Jesus is calling
O come to the altar
The Father’s arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ
Leave behind your regrets and mistakes
Come today there’s no reason to wait
Jesus is calling
Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy
From the ashes a new life is born
Jesus is calling
O come to the altar
The Father’s arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ
O come to the altar
The Father’s arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ
Oh what a savior
Isn’t He wonderful?
Sing hallelujah, Christ is risen
Bow down before Him
For He is Lord of all
Sing Hallelujah, Christ is risen
Oh what a savior
Isn’t He wonderful?
Sing hallelujah, Christ is risen
Bow down before Him
For He is Lord of all
Sing Hallelujah, Christ is risen
O come to the altar
The Father’s arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ
O come to the altar
The Father’s arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ
Bear your cross as you wait for the crown
Tell the world of the treasure you found
The presence of God provides full joy, it is a place where obstacles are moved, and most importantly it is a place of honor for us.
I hope above all this week that we remain connected to God and stay in His presence
Have an amazing week ahead
