Music Monday: God Rescues

It will be ridiculous of me to think that you have never gotten lost before. I mean, I am willing to admit that I need constant directions to a place even if I have been there before. So, have you ever been lost?

Anyways, apart from losing my way around the city, I sometimes get lost in life too. Don’t you? Personally, I get confused on crossroads and every time I’ve tried to figure it out without God’s help has been a disaster.

See, Deuteronomy 31:6 states, ” Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”.

It is reassuring to know that we are not alone in our life’s travail. God never defaults on His promise and that includes His divine guidance.

Are you lost, confused, or frustrated?

I hope Lauren Daigle’s lyrics from Rescue encourages you.

You are not hidden
There’s never been a moment
You were forgotten
You are not hopeless
Though you have been broken
Your innocence stolen
I hear you whisper underneath your breath
I hear your SOS, your SOS
I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night
It’s true, I will rescue you
There is no distance
That cannot be covered
Over and over
You’re not defenseless
I’ll be your shelter
I’ll be your armor
I hear you whisper underneath your breath
I hear your SOS, your SOS
I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night
It’s true, I will rescue you
I will never stop marching to reach you
In the middle of the hardest fight
It’s true, I will rescue you
I hear the whisper underneath your breath
I hear you whisper, you have nothing left
I will send out an army to find you
In the middle of the darkest night
It’s true, I will rescue you
I will never stop marching to reach you
In the middle of the hardest fight
It’s true, I will rescue you
Oh, I will rescue you

This week, if you feel lost remember God will find you.

Don’t forget to ask for His Help

Enjoy your week.
