School Outreach 24 – Katsina, Nigeria | PadATeen Project 2026

On Friday, 17th April 2026, the TMO Katsina team successfully carried out a Pad-A-Teen outreach at Brighter Tots  School, Kofar Kaura. Katsina State, Nigeria. We engaged 63 girls (JSS3–SS3) in meaningful conversations centred on menstrual health, hygiene, and self-awareness.

We arrived at the school at 9:50 am and waited for the students to settle in by 10:15am, after which the session kicked off with an introduction to TMO and our mission. This was handled by the team lead, Victor Ekpe. This was followed by the first talk session handled by Patience Musa, who spoke about Menstrual Health and Hygiene. Participants jotted salient points while the lecture was ongoing.

The second session was handled by Hephzibah Delight (student nurse), who gave a practical and eye-opening session on how to calculate menstrual cycles, equipping the girls with knowledge to better understand their bodies. It was highly interactive as students asked questions and sought to know more.

After interacting with the students and answering their questions, we distributed the pads we had come with, and the teenagers were glad we came.

Special thanks to our TMO Ibadan volunteers: Victor Ekpe, Hephzibah Delight, and Patience Musa

TMO aims to reach teenagers across the world, reminding them that they can be and do better, and while we hold several projects, the PadATeen Project is one of the ways through which we do this.

NOTE:

For this edition, we intend to visit three locations and this is the second. At the end of all three, we will share a full, detailed report of all locations, including a financial report.
