Feelings are an emotional or moral sensitivity especially to personal principles or dignity. In the midst of confused feelings, we can ask ourselves if we would be better off without feelings.
As humans, our feelings warn us about everyday threats to our survival. Uncaring communication creates the opposite reaction; it generates anger and resentment. While good feelings generate quality care.
We often make decisions based on how we feel.
Everyone wants to be respected and appreciated as individuals. Ask yourself “in what way are my feelings protecting me or helping me survive?” If you can understand this positive role of feelings, then you can reason with it about how best you can accomplish your goals.
Feelings also help promote emotional attachment and social interaction. Feelings support growth and also has a positive impact on our lives.
