A blueprint is a detailed plan, whether literal or figurative. It is a guide for making something, it is a design or pattern that can be followed.
Synonyms include: Plan, Design, Outline
Knowing what a blueprint is now, can you say what you think is in your life’s blueprint? Success? Failure? Low self concept?
Who designed your life’s blueprint? You? Your parents? Society? God?
Whenever a building is to be erected, an architect designs a blueprint which contains detailed plans on how the building would look. The same thing applies in the life of a person. Every man’s life has a particular design and how it should be lived out, and the one thing that determines what entails a person’s life blueprint is the architect in charge of that life.
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11
In whose hand did you put your life? In your hands? Your parent’s? Or God’s?
It is very easy to want to plan out your life yourself or to rely on your parents and their connections to help you in life. But you know the funny thing? At the end, it becomes hard. It is only God that prevails.
God is the architect of life, he created you, hence, he knows you best. He knows your true identity, He knows your potential, He knows your capability, He knows your worth.
You may think you have a high concept of yourself and rate yourself 8/10 whereas God rates you 11/10. He sees you beyond the human scale of measurement. He has the best of plans for you; you may aim to be a project manager, whereas God created you to be the CEO. Seen the difference?
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9
Yeah! You cannot even begin to imagine the plans of God for you, they are so big. God is a big thinker; He sees the big picture, He knows the end from the beginning. His thoughts are higher than your thoughts, His ways higher than your ways.
You may have plans planned out for yourself, and think that is the best you can be, but you know what?
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
1 Corinthians 3:19
God has the best of plans for you. Why not get closer to him in order to know what entails your life’s blueprint? Why don’t you submit your will to get the best?
