Many teenagers have been engaged or preoccupied during this period. They are either busy on social media or working on a project. However, in the midst of their busy schedule, they tend to lose their personal relationship with God. They find themselves focusing more on other activities than strengthening their relationship with God.
Most of them are quite ignorant of how to still stay connected to God. If you’re one of them, this article is for you. It’s pertinent to always stay connected to God at all times. Don’t get too busy that you can’t create time for God.
So, how then do you stay connected to God in a busy schedule? Here are 5 guidelines to help you achieve that:
1. Make God Your Priority
It’s quite simple, what are your priorities? Whatever is placed as your priority is what you spend your time, energy and resources on. Set your priorities right, putting God first. If God is your priority then you would always learn to create time to strengthen your relationship with him daily.
2. Be Focused
After setting your priorities right successfully, what next? How well do work on those priorities. Setting priorities is good. However, it’s expedient to be focused on those priorities and take appropriate actions immediately.
If God is priority, then don’t lose focus of him. You should always set your gaze on him. Don’t lose your focus to irrelevant activities.

3. Have a Well-structured To-do List
Did you know that a to-do list can help you schedule your activities and carry them out effectively.? A to-do list is the list of things you have do within a day. Having a to-do list will help you know what to do and create time to do it well.
Create your to-do list daily and put your fellowship with God first.
4. Avoid Procrastination
It’s time to eat that frog now. Stop procrastinating what you could always do. Procrastination is a great thief of time. Be deliberate about your actions. It’s important to stop procrastinating in order to stay connected to God.
5. Consistently Meditate on God’s Word
Creating time to meditate on God’s word consistently can help you discover a lot about God. It will also help you strengthen your relationship with him. The word of God contains everything you need to know about him. The more you study God’s word, the more he reveals his Divine will to you. It’s strengthen your connection with God more.
