I am a female and I have never experienced wet dreams, though scientists are of the opinion that women too can experience wet dreams.

I used to believe boys do have wet dreams as a result of spirit wives or sexual activities that he was involved in during the day. My beliefs about the masculine gender changed when I gained admission into the University.

Wet dreams is called nocturnal enuresis, it occurs when a boy or man as the case may be, experience sexual arousal during sleep, and it is very common in the masculine gender.

Wet dreams is very common during puberty, when testosterone (the hormone held responsible for the production of semen) is in the highest level.

It is simply called wet dreams cos when a male has a dream that is either erotic or not, he becomes aroused with wet clothing.

I mentioned in my second paragraph what I used to believe about wet dreams. Here are some facts you should know about wet dreams.

• Wet dreams does not mean you are now a bad boy, neither does it mean you have backslid or you are non -virgin.
• Wet dreams are not only caused by erotic images, or dreams. Wet dream can come without any sexual activity.
• Masturbation does not stop wet dreams. Don’t be fooled by other boys who tell you that masturbation can stop wet dreams. Wet dreams is a natural occurrence and it can occur at any time.
• If you have wet dreams, it does not mean you are unhealthy. It is one of the things you would experience as a teenage boy.
