The acronym WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?) is a reminder to Christians on living to imitate Christ. It became popular after the widely read book “In His Steps: What Would Jesus Do.” by Charles Sheldon.
In a situation like this where the whole world is in chaos; economics crumpled, the healthcare system bleeding with several cases of COVID-19 patients.
It’s very easy to be frustruated, depressed and just throw in the towel. But what would Jesus do in a situation like this?
He will talk to His Father: Jesus will often tell His Father how he felt about His pain (Luke 22: 39-44). Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us to pray about everything; so go ahead and pray!
Jesus will seek out ways to be a blessing to people (Acts 10:38): look out for creative ways to help out a neighbour as we’re all in this together. It could be helping out with the grocery purchase or simply sending an encouraging SMS.
In a situation like this, let’s act like Jesus.
