Secret is a hidden or kept knowledge while regrets are things that had happened and we felt sorry about them ever happening.
Secret regrets are things we don’t wish to tell anyone and we feel sorry it had happened.
Mostly, as teens there are things that happen to us now that could become a secret regret later in life. Those things could be the least of what we care about for now but later in life they are big deals. We should therefore try as much as we can to avoid them happening to us. We should be able to look back confidently at our teen years and have a big smile not regretting what we had done!!!
To avoid secret regrets, there are four important factors we should be conscious of. Although there’s more to it but these four are the foundation for others.
1. Fear of what people would say
When the opinions of others matter to you than your dreams. I’m not trying to say people’s opinion do not count when you are pursuing your dreams, but there has to be a limit to it. You are the sole owner of your life and dreams. Fear is the opposite of faith. Fear would only make you stagnant, faith in what you do keeps you moving. You should not allow what others would say get in the way of your achievements.

2. Refusing to be the real you.
The real you is 100% unique in itself. Once you try to alter its uniqueness, you become a photocopy. A photocopy can not be the same as the original, therefore to avoid secret regret represent the original you and not a photocopy. Rep your true self.

3. Not heeding to corrections in time
The bible says he whom the father loves he chastise. Correction makes you grow and improve on yourself. Yielding to guidance and correction immediately will definitely improve you and make your life free of secret regrets.
HEED TO CORRECTIONS EARLY SO YOU WON’T WISH YOU HAD DONE SO LATER.
4. Start walking with God early.
The last but most important of all. There’s nothing as divine guidance. The earlier you start walking with God in accordance with His will for your life, the slimmer your chances of having secret regrets are.
