Fear, worries, and anxiety are some of the weapons Satan uses to shift our focus away from God. But God has assured us in His words and this should give us confidence daily.
Before we talk about God’s promises on being with us always, I will like to make something clear to you.
Knowing God’s promises is something and believing that it is for you is another.
2 Corinthians. 1: 20 reads thus; For all the promises of God in him are yea and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. (KJV)
All His promises to you are yes and Amen! If you believe it, you can bank on it!
Did God ever promise to be with us always?
You might have heard a lot about God’s presence from various opinions of men, preachers, and speakers. But have you at one time seen it being fulfilled in your life?
If yes, you tend to believe that God is with you always. If no, here are some scriptures that assure us of God’s presence.
And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV)
Matthew 28:20b
This was a promise pronounced from the mouth of God Himself. Jesus said this while He was leaving for heaven. And God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers. 23: 19).
For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV)
Hebrews 13:5b
He will never leave. He will always be there.
{Read: Where is God in the Midst of My Challenges?}
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (KJV)
Isaiah 41:10
He is for you! How amazing.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (KJV)
Isaiah 43:2
The reason while these promises are worth believing is that they are spread across the scripture. God kept repeating it through the early prophets, Himself while He was on the earth and the apostles that saw Him. God has been proven that He is with you even while you do not believe that He is.
He does that because He is a promise keeper.
Have you experienced the fulfillment of God’s presence in life? Kindly share to encourage others.
