We launched the TMO Academy earlier in March 2021 with a course on “Growing a Successful Online Business” and hinted about a Content Writing Course coming up later.
The TMO Academy launched following a series of in-house training sessions and courses, one of which is the TMO Writing Course mentioned in our 2020 review. One year after, we have taken this public, and while we are grateful for how far we have come, we are looking forward to better days in 2022.
We held the Content Writing Course from 1st September till 7th September 2021. During this period, our instructor, Oluwatosin Faith Kolawole (TeeFaith), took students on the Fundamentals of Content Writing with practical sessions. Each class confirmed that with everything linked to content today, the TMO Academy Content Writing Course came in at a point where content writing as a skill is necessary to achieve relevance and sell yourself.
Teens Meet Outreach (TMO) started as a platform for teenagers and young adults to grow, connect, and leverage the power of the community to beautify their lives. As a subset, TMO Academy helps your quest to achieve set goals and make the best use of your resources by equipping you with practical skills that will aid your growth.
Like we mentioned in our launch post, the courses offered at TMO Academy are practical and taught by professionals towards our broad goal. Each Academy course contains relevant exercises that enable the students to master the skills they wish to learn. Also, you get the opportunity to network and connect with fellow coursemates and instructors while you are assured of your value-pack in the course.
Finalists were awarded certificates from TMO upon completion of the Content Writing Course.

From the classes, I have seen how my writings can be improved upon. Specifically, I learnt more about the use of proper headings, spacings as well as use of punctuation marks which has always been a source of concern for me before the classes started.
