“Bodily exercise profits little” says the Bible, but do you know that“little” in that context is better than nothing. Being fit all the time isn’t a feat to be attained if slothful with exercise.
Exercise is the “activity of exerting your muscles in various ways to keep fit” according to oxford dictionary. Are you fit?
Do you know that the state of being fit goes beyond just systematically training one’s body? Just like health, it also includes exercising one’s state of mind, checking one’s diet, and reshuffling circles (relationships).
So, are you fit in your state of mind?, do you eat healthy meals? Are you keeping a circle of good friends who can keep you in shape?.
It’s a new quarter of the year, and it’s not too late to start the journey to being fit. in fact, the best time to start afresh is now.
How often do you workout?
How often do you read books?
How often do you monitor your diet?
How helpful is your circle of friends in achieving your goal?
You could start exercising your body by working out on the weekends, if you can’t cope with early morning exercises.
You could exercise your mind by trying to complete at least a book in a month.
I saw an advert say, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”, why not give it a try, and also research on eating healthy? You can also read this article on eating on a budget.
You obviously got a goal to achieve, why not surround yourself with like minded fellows?
Exercise is not always easy at the early stage, but the goal is to get that little profit it has to offer, so you got to pull through.
Remember the best time to start is now.
