Have you ever being clueless? You don’t know what’s next. Times when several things cross your subconscious all at once. You don’t know what to go for. You can’t just figure out what God is saying. I guess that was the same situation Father Abraham found himself. He couldn’t fathom what is coming his way while he lifted up the knife to kill his one and only son. Oops, it’s really a test of faith.
What tasks have been placed in your hands and you’re entertaining so much fear. Why? Just because you can’t see the end of the tunnel. You finished college and you don’t know if you can ever gain admission without staying back for so long at home. Or you started worrying if you could ever get a good job?
What has life been putting on your table since the commencement of the year? There are so many times we take up tasks and we never know where it’ll end. Times when God gives you some instructions but you’re not certain about what He’s driving at. You’re just being obedient. You might sound and feel so foolish during such times.
Imagine God telling you to live and start going to somewhere you don’t even know. Imagine God giving you a task and you weren’t given a clue of why He wanted it done that way. You aren’t certain of tomorrow?
God owns you and that’s not debatable. He owns your life and wants the very best for you.Click to tweet
In this article, I will share some tips on how you can survive such times:
1. Keep Your Faith Alive
I want this to sink into you that if anything is uncertain in your life, be rest assured that God’s love is certain. He’s there to help you even when nobody is there for you. Don’t lose faith, keep it alive. That phase of your life is a stepping stone to greatness, but your action and what you make out of every moment determines whether it will make or mar you. Build wisely by keeping your faith alive. Hope for the best and settle for it.
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.Isaiah 41:10:
2. Make Positive Confessions
Your confession is your possession. Have a daily creed, speak to yourself and every situation that surrounds you. Your words are powerful. They are creative. Create each moment by affirming what God has said about it. That doesn’t mean that you’re denying the physical facts but you’re just re-establishing what has been said about you and the situation. I mean from God’s word. And that’s why you’d need to stay closer to God’s word too.
3. Make Friends with People of Like Minds
Be careful of the type of company you keep. Make sure they are people that strengthen you for more, not people that are parasitic, some friends are just there to draw and drain you. Beware! Stay with people that will boost your happiness and make you see that you can survive through and overcome the hurdles.
4. Stay Closer to God
Yeah! This sums it up, stay closer to God. He owns your future. Never forget that He created you, so if things go the way you never expected, meet the manufacturer of your life. Pray to Him and let Him know how you feel. Such moments are lifting and encouraging.
God is enough for you through it all.
I hope you got a thing or two from this.
