When I saw the theme for this month “leaving prints on heart”, I didn’t know what to write at first but then I remembered what it means to make impact. When God created you, you were made to make an impact in life, that is why we ought to find our purpose in life.

TMO would be a year old, and it has blessed me a great deal, having heard about this blog at age 19, it really helped the last phase of my teenage hood. It is not about TMO now, it is about you, yes! You reading this post.

Have you found your purpose on earth?

No, you don’t even know what it means to have a purpose?

Now let’s take it slowly, your purpose is that reason God has created you in the first place

Isa 49:8 “Thus says the Lord in a time of favour I have answered you, in a day of salvation I have helped you; I have kept you and given you as a covenant to the people, to establish the land to apportion the desolate heritages”.

Take your time to find your purpose through seeking God’s face, or in a simple way, your purpose on earth is in that thing you love doing best, that particular thing you are so passionate about. Do take note, no matter what your purpose is on earth, it still has the same goal with every other person.

What then is the goal?

To draw people to Christ, to show forth the glory of God.

The next question, how are you working towards your purpose? You need to start from somewhere, you can’t impact everybody’s life. There are people whose destiny are attached to yours, a proverb says “the journey of a thousand miles starts with just a step”.

You making impact starts from a step, accepting responsibilities, even if it is just encouraging one person per day. One thing that draws my attention to the worth of a man’s life is how much impact he has made in people’s life, there are few ways to know a man’s worth, on his birthday, on his burial ceremony day and on the day he is leaving a certain position.

Look my dear, when you start achieving purpose, you have started making impact in someone’s life, what else happens in the mind of someone after having a conversation with you?

How funny life is, it keeps the footprints of everyone carefully, in such a way that your footprint would never cover mine, and that footprint is your purpose.

If you haven’t found your purpose, please find it and start walking in it.

If you feel weary, and weak about your purpose, don’t give up,  they are challenges, face it and keep making impact.
